It also operates a quick service restaurant under the Venky's XPRS name. The company was formerly known as Western Hatcheries Limited and changed its name to Venky's (India) Limited. The company was incorporated in 1976 and is based in Pune, India. Venky's (India) Limited is a subsidiary of Venkateshwara Hatcheries Private Limited.
